It's extensively used to produce duplicates of a plant in a system known as micropropagation. Micropropagation using meristem and shoot culture to produce large figures of identical individualities. Webbing programs of cells, rather than plants for profitable characteristics. Large- scale growth of plant cells in liquid culture as a source of secondary products.
